Please remember to visit our class google meet starting at 4pm on Tuesday. Mrs. V's classroom meet code is V2Meet. Ms. Clare's Meet code is Clare2Meet. We will be showing a video to show our classroom and to make sure parents are able to access google classroom and google meet at home. Emails and passwords have been sent home last week with your child and thru an email this weekend.
This week we will continue to use the blog but starting next week we will be using google classroom to post information.
Today we made patterns on a 100 chart. We started counting by 5's and asked the students what they noticed. One student commented, "When counting by 5's. I can make 2 straight lines on my 100 chart."
When counting by 10's, we asked the students what is the same and different as skip counting by 5's. One comment was, "I don't say the numbers with the 5 in it and say all the 10 numbers."
When counting by 2's the students noticed that we said all the numbers with 2, 4, 6, 8, and 0 in the ones place and that they were all even numbers.
